What deletion removes Your profile, home base and display currency Every trip you own, with its days and items — including trips you share, which go for their other members too Your place on trips other people own Every assistant conversation and its history Your notification history and settings, and the token for every phone you had signed in to Your sign-in credentials, from Firebase AuthenticationThis is permanent. We cannot recover a deleted account, and there is no grace period in which it can be undone.
What briefly survives Comments you wrote on trips somebody else owns stay readable to that trip’s members with your name removed, so a conversation they are still having does not have holes torn in it. Delete them first if you would rather they went.Notifications already written for other people keep your display name and any comment extract in them until they age out at 90 days. They belong to the people who were told, and one of the things they are told is that you are gone.Server logs may contain your IP address and account identifier until they age out. They are not used to rebuild anything.Database backups are taken nightly and kept 30 days on a rolling basis before being discarded. They sit in encrypted storage, readable only by us, and a deleted account is never restored from one.Cached place data — the search results we keep so the same lookup is not sent twice — is not linked to you and is not deleted, because it identifies nobody.
The long form of all of this is section 8 of the Privacy Policy , and your right to stop using the Service is section 11 of the Terms .
